What are good sun annuals to plant in N.C.?

I tend to have a brown thumb when it comes to planting flowers. I am looking for good, hardy annuals to plant around my mailbox. There is no shade, so I need something that will thrive in the sun. This is N.C. so the weather in the summer easily reaches the 90s. Any suggestions??

I have a black thumb when it comes to planting flowers so when my friend gave me tons of begonias 2 yrs ago i thought i would have them dead by the end of the week. I was suprised to see that I didn't kill them. As the summer went on and I would occasionnaly forget to water them they were still alive and they got big and beautiful. Now I live in the St. Louis Missouri area and we get very hot summers our temps easily reach the upper 90's daily and we get up into the 100's as well. My begonias did so well that I now plant them every year. I just moved into my first house and I have them planted out front in my flower boxes and they are getting so big and beautiful. Try begonias, they are beautiful, they came in a red, pink, and white...the names for each plant is Whiskey (red i think), Gin (pink these are the ones i love), and Vodka (white i think). Also Hostas do well in sunlight and are a hearty plant, but get the dark ones the striped ones don't like a lot of direct sunlight. you may want to try Four O'clocks i never killed them when i took care of my mother's flowers.

A notepad file will appear. There are two Headings. One is [boot loader] and other is [operating system].Under the [operating system],commands will be given in two lines. The first line contains the command to open the first operating system.The second line contains the command to open the second operating system.Delete the line which contains command to open the operating system which you have formatted.Save the file from file menu.Restart the computer.You can see that the operating system which you have formatted will not appear in the boot menu and system will automatically boot to Windows XP.





If you donot have Windows XP, Sorry I don't know how to solve this problem.

Reply:If you are on Win2K or XP go to control panel. administrative tools, and drive management.





If you find you have two partitions, which is very likely you need to delete the empty one and then add it back so you can use it from Windows.





With two Operating Systems they generally are set to run from different drive partitions. Reformatting one only reformats that partition it does not remove or make it available to the other operating system thus you still get the two boot option.

Reply:Hello Friend! If u have Windows XP curently on ur machine, just boot ur machine using Windows XP CD(change ur BIOS setting to boot from CD-ROM/DVD-ROM before attempting this) and after few minutes, Windows XP will ask u 3 options such as


1. Press enter to install Windows


2. Press R to enter Recovery Console


3. Press F3 to quit





use the second option " Press R to enter Recovery Console: by simply pressing the R key on ur keyboard. Windows will now prompt u to repair the C: local drive. Press key "1" to continue. Windows will now prompt for the administrator password. Type and wait till u get the command prompt.

When I discovered that carmine is the carapace of an insect used in food coloring and coincidently that it was being used by a line of products that I represented I was horrified and brought it to the attention of the CEO, the VP and Formulator of the products. It was immediately removed from the ingredient list with apologies and thanks for bringing it to their attention. No sane manufacturer wants to make his products unacceptable to the huge and growing vegetarian population. They want to make money. Help them. Tell them to remove the offending substance and alert the rest of us as to where you find it.


There are many companies that provide wonderful vitamins without resorting to food coloring of any kind. And please remember that synthetics are not recognizable by the body as bio-available. So make sure that your vitamins are organic, and all natural..

Ask your doctor. If you have more than one doctor ( and hopefully you do since you need to be seen by a specialist when you have hep C ) make sure all your doctors are aware that you have hep c (HCV) and they know what the other doctors are prescribing you.


As for tylenol or acetominophen, that is OK if taken in prescribed doses. In other words, do not exceed the recommended dose. Acetominophen can be hepato-toxic if the recommended dose is exceeded. Also, beware of OTC medications and prescription meds that contain acetominophen. Example: TheraFlu has 1000 milligrams of acetominophen. If you take TheraFlu plus tylenol, you will be over the recommended dose within a 24 hour period. If you are prescribed vicodin, that contains acetominophen, too. Be careful of how much you take.


Also, if you are having symptoms of decompensation (cirrhosis with ascites, varices, or hepatic encephalopathy) you must be extremely careful of EVERYTHING you take, eat, drink, inhale, and put on your skin. When you have a decompensated (severely damaged) liver, everything changes. Otherwise, acetominophen in recommended doses should be alright. But as always, ask your doctor. Best wishes.

There is a song called Sicilliene that I once played by him, as well as a song by Melodie. I know Kriesler's work is readily availiable on CDNOW. Even though this is not a violin piece, I'd recommend looking for The Warsaw Concerto by Addinsell. Strong entrance, beautiful solo, great orchestration

the board cannot detect the modem, if it is an pci modem probably it is not fixed well, remove it and replace it. if it is an onboard modem then it probably is spoilt. you need to replace it by a pci one

I have been using such a program for years, I just copy loads of data into dvds then I print all contents into a text file then I put all text files into a folder and when I need anything i'll just search the folder for the text and I know which dvd it is in. Once installed just right click the folder/cd rom drive

Reply:As far as i know u can't get list of copied item in mozila.. i mean there is not list handling only one item is copied to clipboard (name of memory area stores the copied (Ctrl + C) item in temporary memory - BUFFER).





So when u copy (Ctrl + C) a text , and then again copy(Ctrl + C) second one without pasting(Ctrl + V) the second one you will loose the first one.





In Windows 98 there was a small tool - Clipboard Viewer which shows the item copied, but i could not find in XP (there may be in XP).

A good tip for making pizza with less calories, is to use tortillas instead of making a dough bottom. Plus this way, you also have a good sized serving and you can make the pizza yourself, so you know just what is in it. Also, you can have as many toppngs as you want, without all that GREASE on top!!!

This is what I get: green and red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers, garlic, ginger, carrots, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, red cabbage, bananas, oranges, apples, grapefruits, grapes, frozen strawberries (unsweetened), frozen broccoli, peas, and cauliflower, avocado, dried apricots and cranberries, whole wheat bread and wraps, lean pork, turkey, chicken, brown rice, Stonyfield Farm Organic FF French Vanilla yogurt (my favorite), chicken broth/stock, whole grain oatmeal, milk, whole grain pretzels, ... I think that's about it. Lot's of veggies and fruit and whole grain snacks...

Reply:Check for the organic foods they should all have a label stating that they are organic I know when I go to Kroger they have specail sections for organic food
