How to generate list of files , classes and methods in a project?
To know what is missing, you need to know what is required - since a project can be made up of source files, source files, documentation, content, resources and references. This means reading the solution (sln) and project files (csproj) files and possibly the resx files of the project.





Also, to know that something can be found, you need to know the directories visual studio uses to resolve file locations. This is the local directory, the GAC, a directories listed in the .NET / Assemblies hive in the registry. Also, references can be to item within a solution, and thus may use the local GUID for the project.





Building this report isn't easy, and Visual Studio tells you what is missing already. If you're using Visual Studio, simply attempt to compile the solution, and see what it says.





If you want to build a report of what is IN your solution, try using nDoc. It reads your solution and output a web site of all your comments you've put into the code (C#).

But it SOUNDS as though you want solicitation lists - sorry, you'll have to do THAT work on your own!

These are good tutorials if you want to write your own implementation, or just want to learn about the container. If you have an application that needs this kind of container, writing your own should be your last choice.





I do not know about C# but C++ offers all of the basic containers in the Standard Template Library (STL). Java has similar template container classes.





When you understand the basics, you can do a good job of choosing the right container from those available in standard implementations.

How can I use an old laptop C drive as a D drive for photos with an off line hard drive box?

I plugged the drive in and it does not come up in the drive list. It is spinning and the drive box shows an activity light. The old drive was Windows XP Professional from a ATA Dell. The new computer has an SATA C drive.

I'm a little confused by your wording but I think that you want to buy an external enclosure for a laptop hard drive. That should allow you to hook up the old laptop drive and use it as an external drive on whatever computer you want via USB or firewire.

P.s. Hooking ths drive up externally through one of these enclosures will be much easier than trying to adapt it for internal use in a standard desktop.

Exectute the .bat file from within the folder you want the contents list. The batchlist.txt file will be created in that folder.





BTW. The batch file will work in any folder. The contents of the batch file will NOT need to me modified in order for it to work.

Is AP Physics C different or harder than Physics B? Can you take both?

I think my son is taking calculus BC which is more difficult than calculus AB, so I thought Physics C would be harder than B, but in his high school course list it just looks different than B.





If my son just needs physics to opt out of a college science elective, is it better to take B or C? Does each one get you out of one course, but a different course? Do people ever take both Physics B and Physics C?

Is AP Physics C different or harder than Physics B? Can you take both?
Some people take both, but not usually. Physics C is harder since it is calculus-based. But it is different. It's on different subjects that are harder than those in Physics B.


If he is planning to major in an area related to math, the school will make him take their version of physics, because that's just what colleges do. If he's going to major in a non-math based area, then it could get him out of one or maybe even two college science or math electives.


He doesn't need to take B before C.

Physics B will not enable him to opt out of a full Physics course in college but Physics C may allow him to opt out of a full Physics course in college if he does well enough on the AP Physics C exam. Some colleges won't allow students to opt out of general Physics though even if they do well on the AP exams because they believe a college course in general Physics is much better than an AP class in Physics.





Usually the only AP class that people take both of are Calculus AB and BC because of the different pace of both classes but I suppose he could take both Physics B and C if his school allows it.

What's the best solution to my A/C return problem?

My house had a mold issue that has been resolved. However, due to this problem, I now have mold growth inside the return duct of my A/C system. It is a metal duct that is lined with fiberglass insulation. It is visibly contaminated and creates an odor that is being spread throughout the house.





Which is my best option:


1. Replace the insulation with new fiberglass or other duct liner.


2. Remove the insulation and insulate the exterior of the duct.


3. Pull out the whole return duct and replace with one made of fiberglass duct board.


4. A completely separate option that I have not covered since I am not a pro.





I would hire a professional but the cost is through the roof. I can handle this job since I am a pro in other trades. Just another skill to add to the ever growing list. Time is of the essence though because I am not running the unit at all to avoid "the stinkies" and, being in the South, the heat will not hold off much longer. Thanks for any input.

i dont know what services are offered in your area or the cost, but have you looked into cleaning/mold removal? i am goining to assume that you have, i have some experience in hvac systems and my recommendation is to replace the duct work with metal duct work and insulate it from the outside. it is easily cleaned if your mold returns. also did you hire someone to remove the mold? if so why didn't they take care of the the mold in the ducts?? anyway hope this helps. if you need more feel free to ask me
Reply:Remove all contaminated ductwork, replace with regular galv. duct, and insulate the exterior if you want. (it's a return, why insulate?)
Reply:Initially, the knee-jerk reaction would be to answer with option 2. However, to remove the lining would require you to tear-out the line anyway. And if you have to do this, you need to go back with new stuff. ductboard is the most cost-effective material. And it's easier to work with (you can hide mistakes, which is impossible with rigid sheet-metal!). I have learned through mold removal courses that the only sure-fire way to rid the home after contamination is a new system. Even though you say you have solved the problem, in reality you're circulationg mold spores around every minute your fan runs.
Reply:Either option #3 OR haave a HVAC company make you a new insulated return in their shop and you can install it.
Reply:you need to install an ultraviolet light in the return system.
Reply:I would replace the duct and use external insulation if any since it is only a return and not a supply. Experience with ductboard and I wouldn't recommend that, it's difficult to mess with and you get a lot of insulation all over you, also easy to break the board if your not careful.


When I moved into my house I went through and replaced all the supply ducts in my house with round sheetmetal externally insulated for the 2 main lines and insulated flex off the main to the registars. My return is nothing more than 3 10x36 grills that lead directly to a void under the A/C unit itself.
Reply:Have you been able to tell exactly how for the mold spread is? If it is some place where it is accessable there are a couple things you can try. Try to keep the humidity in your house under 45%, ultraviolet light also kills mold, and the last thing I can think of is keeping the temperature under 75 degrees, if you can't seem to halt the growth with that, you might want to remove the insulation, and wrap the outside of the box.

I am on the board for a nonprofit organization. I would like to see the list of donors from our last fundraiser to thank those donors whom we know gave on our behalf. Is the list of donors a privacy protected list or is it public information? The organization does publish a list in its quarterly newsletters which go out to about 1600 people and businesses.





Even though the organization has already sent a thank you to all donors, we feel that people who know us and have given on our behalf deserve a more personal thank you. The CEO does not want to allow us to have access to the list for privacy reasons.

Reply:Don't know, but one of the best things that I got for graduation (but thought was really stupid at the time) was a sewing kit. You'll be suprised how often you'll need it just to sew a button back on. Still use it to this day - 20+ years later.





Also pack a small toolbox with the basics: screwdriver (philips and standard), hammer, nails for hanginging pictures, tape measure, etc.

How do I see a list of my web browser history?

I would like to find a list of all the sites that I've visited. I know I've found it before but I can't find it again. I've done a search for temporary internet files but it's empty (via C:Windows/Temp/Temporary Internet files. The other paths I've heard of don't find anything). Also, will it tell you what time you visited the site?

Look on the toolbar at the top of your home page. There should be a green arrow next to 'favorites'. That will take you to recent site visits. To clear it, go Start/Settings/Control Panel/Internet. Click on Clear History, near the bottom of the screen to get rid of the record of your internet visits.

In the first one, you can get the selected index with listBox1.SelectedIndex or listBox1.SelectedIndices and when things change, you'll have a SelectedIndexChanged event to handle. From there, you can select the items in the second list box using its listBox2.SelectedIndex property. This is a read/write property so you can get the first one and write it to the second.

It is impossible to answer your question: you do not say what kind of graphics you are looking for and what is your programming environment (compiler and even operating system!). There are tons of graphics libraries for *nix, DOS, Windows but they all are different.

Hi, ok so I have been thinking of getting a nose job, but I am a really paranoid person. I have been researching everything. I need to know if there is some kind of list of plastic surgeons w/ a good track record. I have been typing in best surgeons %26amp; top surgeons, but it only gives you a Dr.s private page b/c he considers himself the best, not a real list. I am really scared of botched surgery's. I want a good surgeon. I am in Philadelphia, so I want a Dr. In Philadelphia or NJ or NY or something close by. ANy personal experiences? Thanks alot!

Is there a list of highly rated plastic surgeons?
The best way to select your plastic surgeon is to do your own research. Take your time. Interview at least two or three plastic surgeons, and see examples of their work. Look at their before and after pictures. Make sure you like the results of the doctor's work and that you feel you have a good rapport with him. That way, you have made a rational, informed decision for yourself. Don't just blindly take someone else's recommendation. Anyone who refers you to a plastic surgeon has far less at stake in the outcome than you do, so it's up to you to take responsibility for finding the best doctor.


Other ways, mostly unsatisfactory:


• Get a recommendation from your family doctor.





Your family doctor is busy, and probably doesn't make a career out of carefully evaluating every plastic surgeon in town. He might refer you to a couple plastic surgeons whom he knows well, and the best plastic surgeon in town might not get mentioned. Your doctor very possibly does not know the quality or lack of quality of the plastic surgeons whose names he gives you.


• Get a recommendation from a satisfied patient.





That patient might be satisfied with the results he achieved, not knowing that a different doctor could have done much, much better.


• Find out if the doctor is board-certified.





Board certification, by itself, means almost nothing. Remember that the board certification test is a written test; it does not evaluate the surgeon's manual dexterity, his artistic talents, whether he cares about his patients' well-being, or whether his results are excellent, just passable, or bad. You don't just want a board-certified doctor, you want a doctor who can deliver excellent results.


• Get a referral from a hospital referral line.





A hospital referral line will send you at random to one of the plastic surgeons who work at that hospital, but to none of the doctors who don't work at that hospital. Hospital referral lines don't take skill or patient satisfaction into account at all.


• Get a recommendation from your cosmetologist or hair stylist.





Actually, this may be a reasonable way to select a plastic surgeon, second only to doing your own research. Your cosmetologist is in the appearance business, sees the scars and the results, isn't afraid to talk to the clients, and probably has seen and compared the work of many of the local plastic surgeons. If your cosmetologist is experienced, it's not a bad place to start.


If you're not sure where to start, you can get some names from your cosmetologist or from your family doctor, but remember that you still have to check out the plastic surgeons yourself. The Yellow Pages will have a complete list of doctors, but remember that the size and quality of the ad doesn't necessarily correlate with the skill of the surgeon.


Contacting a plastic surgeon is probably the best idea for advice. These sites have a lot of other helpful information…
